Building on our 38-year partnership and born from our brand positioning, Charging Forward to Protect What Matters, we re-envisioned PECO (Philadelphia Energy Company) as a meaningful and relevant brand for customers. Our new campaign, The Way You Shine, demonstrates PECO’s role in providing the safe, reliable, clean energy that powers every moment that matters most to them.

 

Integrated media tactics reached 75% of the target audience and drove 65% more traffic than forecasted. The messaging and media were successful in demonstrating PECO’s steadfast commitment to its customers and community, with brand tracker studies showing a significant increase in customer agreement that PECO delivers across all four focus areas: Reliability, Customer Experience, Community, and Clean Energy.

Utilizing custom 3D illustration and animation—rather than lifestyle imagery—to represent Philly’s unique customers and employees, we intentionally kept things close to home by tapping Philadelphia-based vendors to craft the campaign. The collaboration included Philly-based illustrator, Noah Camp, and Philly native and singer-songwriter, Jill Scott—ringing true to the company’s dedication to giving back and supporting the community it has served for more than 140 years.
