Use Your Powers
For Good
What it’s like to work here.
Hopefully there’s no one singular experience at Carmichael Lynch. Instead, we’re building a culture in which teammates and coworkers respect and value the talents and perspectives that each person brings to the table; a place where we all can be open, learn from each other, take chances, mess up, and still do the best work of our lives. Also, there are snacks.
We foster that type of environment by sharing the stories of people’s experiences and perspectives from both inside and outside our walls and providing unrivaled training and development opportunities for employees.
We know anti-racist work and our DE&I initiatives are an ongoing journey. It’s important to us that we continue to keep a focus on building representation, equity, inclusion, and understanding across a diverse group of communities within our agency and our work. As an agency, we will continue to listen to, share, and enable diverse perspectives and stories to hold space and better relate to one another using the tools and talents in our company and our industry. Transparency about our actions and progress is a key part of holding ourselves accountable to the focus areas we established. Our most recent diversity data is here.
ALLOY, our internal DE&I committee, was founded in 2010 with six employees. Participation now includes more than 25 percent of the agency. Our driving mission is our belief that we can serve as a catalyst for continued change, learning, and collaborative thinking. We welcome people for all that they are and we embrace and expect diversity that enables mutual respect among people.
We have a number of employee resource groups committed to developing ongoing learning and discussion about DE&I and intersectionality, including Blaze, our women’s leadership group; CLOUT, our LGBTQIA+ dedicated to creating a culture that’s truly inclusive of LGBTQIA+ people; MOSAIC, our people of culture subcommittee that curates opportunities for connection between multicultural employees at the intersection of creativity and culture; DiverseAbility, our group for people with disabilities and their allies to champion and support differences both seen and unseen by creating an empathetic and safe culture; and our CL Parents’ Group, dedicated to sharing support among the agency’s parents.
Benefits that benefit people.
Creating work that stands apart is core to our mission, and our people are core to that work. We make sure those people feel supported by focusing hard on ensuring access to health and wellness that can bring some balance to the lives of our people, their people, and their animals too. Work from where you need to.
We’ve learned a lot over the last two years, and one lesson that stands out is that when people work in the way that’s best for them, it’s also best for the work. That’s why we call our flexible way of working “Work From Where You Need To.” Maybe for you that’s at home. Maybe it’s at the office. Maybe it’s at a particular table at a particular coffee shop because you’re weird like that. It’s all fine. Flexibility needs to be flexible, after all.

IMPORTANT NOTICE:
We have recently become aware that individuals not associated with Carmichael Lynch have fraudulently used our name, our branding, and in some cases, the names of our employees, to solicit applications for fake jobs, to conduct fake job interviews, and/or to make fake job offers. Any request to schedule an interview and any legitimate offer of employment will only come from an authorized representative of Carmichael Lynch with an email address ending in ‘@clynch.com.’ Our recruitment process follows several steps, including in-person or video interviews with multiple staff members, via Microsoft Teams, and an official letter with any job offer. We do not request payment information for any reason, nor do we conduct interviews over email.
We will never require an applicant to provide sensitive personally identifiable information in order to conduct an interview – if an applicant is asked to upload an image of their driver’s license or passport, a social security number, credit card or banking information, it is a scam.

If you have provided personal information in connection with a fake job offer or interview and you are concerned, we suggest that you take appropriate action and contact local law enforcement in your area. Please also reach out to us by sending an email to fraudreport@interpublic.com.
