Carmichael Lynch expanded its creative department in Minneapolis with three new creative hires. Brian Lambert and Tom Sebanc join the agency as creative director, while Christine Gault arrives as an associate creative director.

“I’m so happy Brian, Tom and Chris all made the decision to join us here at Carmichael Lynch,” Carmichael Lynch CCO Marty Senn, who ascended to that position from executive creative director last December, said in a statement. “There’s so much new work here, and these are three fresh, innovative thinkers and leaders that really help build on our capabilities as a department and as an agency. That’s what’s fun about this business, when you get to bring on huge talents that are also incredibly nice, good people.”

Lambert arrives at Carmichael Lynch from Minneapolis agency mono, where he has served as a senior art director since January of 2014, working with brands including Sperry, TNT, Target Pharmacy and Quaker. Before that he served stints as an associate creative director with CP+B and BSSP. He began his career as a designer with Minneapolis agency space150 and also spent time as a freelance designer and art director with Wexley School for Girls. Over the course of his career he has worked with brands including Domino’s, Google, Burger King, United Airlines and Windows Phone 7.

Sebanc arrives at the agency after three years as a freelance senior copywriter and associate creative director, working with agencies including 72andSunny, GS&P, Saatch & Saatchi L.A., Innocean and The Martin Agency, following a year and a half as a freelance associate creative director for Apple. Before going freelance he spent over two years as a senior copywriter with W+K, working with clients such as Nike, Sony, Target, P&G, EA Games and Facebook. Prior to that he served stints as a copywriter with Fallon and McKinney.

Gault joins the agency from Colle+McVoy, where she has served as an associate creative director since May of 2013, following a brief stint as a senior copywriter with the agency. While with Colle+McVoy she worked with brands including Hershey, Target, Purina, Duluth Trading Company and Caribou Coffee. Prior to joining Colle+McVoy she spent nearly eleven years as a copywriter with Martin Williams Advertising, working with brands such as L.L. Bean, Payless, Donatos Pizza, Finnegans Irish Amber and The Minnesota Timberwolves.

The new hires are the latest in a series of hires and promotion at the agency this year, following closely on the heels of the arrival of Lachlan Badenoch as chief strategy officerlate last month. Back in March the agency added Josh Leutz as group creative director and in August it promoted Senn and PR president Julie Batliner to managing partner positions. Carmichael Lynch also won creative duties for Truvia back in June.
